This dude is finally done! What a beast!
My favourite parts are how GOOD the metallic silver looks against the black of his eyes, and the fact he can stand on his own without tipping either back onto his tail or forwards.

He does have a pellet pouch in his tum, and a soft plastic support in each leg so that they don’t sink underneath him. A lot of his scales are also re-enforced with interfacing. He has so many LAYERS- if you followed his progress posts you’ll know he’s basically a blank dinosaur shape, with his head, jaw, scales and armor all built on top in layers until he was done!

The commissioner asked for faux fur on his beard and neck, and I had a leftover fat quarter of a sparkly fur that was perfect! Unfortunately I’m all out now, and I have NO idea where to get more, but I would probably use fax rabbit fur in future for the shorter length, and add some sparkle myself!

Tyrantrum is my favourite Pokémon, and both times I made him he took MONTHS, so….. I was thinking it’d be my dream once I’ve moved house to make one for myself, but he’d probably take another three years oops! I was so happy to see him in New Pokémon Snap in his regular red form but honestly his blue form is way cooler to me!

Pride Month Patches – So colourful!

I made up these Patch designs, I think in 2019??? The years are melting into each other.

I don’t know how to do subtle- I lack the brain power and wit to think of drawing a pair of scissors coloured like the lesbian flag, or a pink, purple and blue bicycle, but I do have a slew of pretty fonts at my fingertips and a lot of embroidery thread!

I only did a few different flags to test the waters, but I add more as they’re requested.

One of my favourite parts of these patches is actually the construction process- they’re stitched out onto a black stabilizer and fabric underlay to make sure they’re nice and strong, and watching the stripes of bright colour appearing over the black hoop is just….. oh there’s something kind of magic about it.

Plush This Again! (9 years accidental recreation)

OK, let me start by saying I didn’t mean to pretty much recreate this photo- I guess it was subconsciously in my head, because now I’ve seen it again, I can remember using it as a header in the day! I remembered I had a really old Facebook profile floating around so I went to see if I could find a date on the first Meganium, and instead found a folder of photos!

Meganium was the first non-pony plush I made with a pattern of my own, and I’d JUST gotten my new machine with an embroidery unit (I’d been solely ponies and real animals until then) and I remember she absolutely was NOT very cuddly, because I wanted to put decorative sand in her to weigh her down and kind of overfilled her ^^;

The new body type is so much better, and WHAT was I thinking, putting the feelers up there on the old one??

Ahh I love Sonic the Hedgehog, and I’m a big fan of Rouge. I spend most of my tween years playing Dark Story on Sonic Adventure 2 and A ranking every Rouge level, so getting to make her was a dream come true!

I followed a brief to make her look like a discontinued Sega plush, but I think some time I’d love to make another, with a different expression, different ears and maybe another outfit? I love this one, it’s classic Rouge, but she gets some really cool outfits in other games!
